Jeffrey Meltzer has a broad range of commercial real estate experience and focuses
his practice on the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of
commercial properties throughout the United States, including shopping centers,
office/industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities and vacant land for
development, in both single-asset and portfolio transactions. He represents institutional
lenders in the origination of commercial mortgage loans for securitization in
the capital markets, and is experienced with various asset types, including
retail, office, hotel, multifamily and industrial properties. He also represents both landlords and tenants
in commercial lease transactions involving retail shopping centers, office and
industrial buildings, with a particular emphasis on retail space in the NY/NJ
metropolitan area.
Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross in 2005, Mr. Meltzer
was affiliated with Hahn & Hessen in New York City where he represented
major financial institutions in a variety of real estate and commercial finance
matters.
