Hillary J. Buyea is a Member of the Real Estate Department at Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. She has practiced law for more than two decades, concentrating on commercial real estate finance.
Ms. Buyea represents institutional and private lenders in financing transactions ranging from single-asset loans to multi-property portfolio deals secured by multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, co-op, and condominium properties. She advises clients through every stage of a transaction, from structuring the deal to drafting and negotiating the loan documents. She also counsels lenders on loan workouts, restructurings, and modifications, and handles interest rate swap and hedging transactions. Beyond real estate finance, her practice includes asset-based lending matters, including vessel financings secured by tugboats.
