In this session, a panel of in-house and outside counsel and an outside consultant will discuss plaintiffs lawyers latest advertising tactics. They will review the plaintiffs practices in product liability cases, including a discussion of the increasing use of lead generation firms to create mass tort litigation. Learn how plaintiffs are using the Internet, including Google keyword advertising, search engine optimization, Facebook, and social media, as part of their advertising and lead generation practices, as well as the ethical issues surrounding these tactics. Is offense the best defense? Are there benefits to informing the court that the mass is being driven by the plaintiffs bar?
