The Supreme Court upheld a sweeping new school funding formula based on number of students in any district, with a bonus for poor or otherwise at-risk students instead of focusing state aid on the poorest 31 districts. For many, many years this case has been a source of some tension of the government branches. Some of that tension has now been evaporated.”
