Steven S. Fernandez is an Associate in the Sills Cummis & Gross Litigation Department. He concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, handling all aspects from factual investigations, discovery, and dispositive motion practice to trials and settlement in federal and state courts.

Mr. Fernandez has represented clients in a range of industries, including healthcare and pharmaceutical, and in class actions and shareholder derivative matters. He also has experience representing corporations, non-profits, and individuals in state and federal prosecutions, government enforcement actions, and internal investigations.

Mr. Fernandez served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Julien X. Neals in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, where he assisted in resolving emergent applications, criminal motions, and civil dispositive motions, including putative class actions alleging securities and consumer fraud. He began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John Zunic in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Trial Division.

During law school, Mr. Fernandez was a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board. He is fluent in Spanish.
