Robyn K. Lym is Of Counsel to the Sills Cummis Construction and Energy Law Practice, where she focuses on construction and commercial litigation. Her experience involves breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud, construction defect, and consumer fraud claims. Ms. Lym is experienced in managing matters through all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through discovery, motion practice, and resolution.
Ms. Lym’s experience involves multi-million dollar cases and complex commercial litigation and business and shareholder disputes. She also has experience with appellate matters, federal and state litigation involving large scale electronic discovery, and emergent applications seeking injunctive relief. Her experience also includes tort claims, such as tortious interference, negligence, fraud, and fraudulent inducement claims.
Early in her career, Ms. Lym served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Arthur Bergman, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage, Civil Division.

- Obtained a favorable settlement in a dispute involving breach of contract and fraud claims arising from an $8 million project and following extensive discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
- Obtained a multi-million dollar settlement in a dispute involving breach of contract claims and alleging $20 million in damages.
- Successfully obtained dismissal with prejudice following a motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim in a prerogative writ action arising from a municipal council decision.
- Obtained a temporary retaining order in a dispute involving a condominium association’s elections as to amendments of its by-laws.
- Obtained judgment to terminate a contract to purchase real property after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Obtained a favorable settlement representing a shareholder of multiple closely-held entities seeking a buy-out/dissolution.
- Obtained judgment of $500 million enforcing guarantees for a bank against guarantors.
- Obtained judgment of $33 million in a civil RICO action for an investor arising from fraudulent investment transactions.
- Argued as amicus curiae before the New Jersey Supreme Court and obtained reversal of the lower court decisions, holding that government officials were not disqualified from considering applications due to a conflict of interest.
