Matthew L. Lippert is a Member of the Sills Cummis & Gross Litigation Department.  Mr. Lippert represents clients ranging from large financial institutions to family-owned businesses in a variety of matters, including both litigation and arbitration of commercial disputes related to banking, real estate, contracts, corporate governance and antitrust issues.  He also has particular experience dealing with expert evidence, including cooperating with experts to produce strong reports, preparing experts to testify, and taking as well as defending the depositions of expert witnesses.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Lippert was a litigation associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he represented financial institutions and other companies in securities litigation, complex commercial litigation and government investigations.  During that time, he was personally involved in a large number of matters arising out of mortgage-backed securities and the financial crisis, and also coordinated litigation strategy across a larger set of similar matters, in addition to working closely with client personnel to give operational and transactional advice in order to reduce litigation risk.
