  • The following matters include work handled prior to joining Sills Cummis.

    • Represented LandGate Corp., a provider of proprietary land, grid, and infrastructure data and analytics for the power, renewables, and data center markets, in its acquisition by Wood Mackenzie, a global provider of data, analytics, and insights for the energy and natural resources industry.
    • Represented a leading marketplace and data provider for commercial land resources, including solar, wind, minerals, water, and carbon offsets, in a $10 million Series B Preferred Stock financing led by an affiliate of the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from wind and sun. The financing also included participation from a private equity firm.
    • Represented an early-stage venture capital fund as lead investor in a $3.2 million Series Seed Preferred Stock financing of an artificial intelligence company.
    • Closed the sale of a technology company that develops telecom-focused web and mobile applications to a software and digital applications company.
    • Closed a Series A Preferred Stock and Warrant financing led by a leading growth equity firm on behalf of an e-learning platform that provides managers with effective and engaging brand training for their teams, customers, and partners.
    • Represented a credit-management data company that combines cloud-based software, crowdsourcing, and deep data to provide up-to-date payment behaviors and financial risk information on common customers, in the sale of a new credit management solution to a leading B2B payment cycle management company.
