Business-Owning ‘Boomers’ Boost M&A Pipeline, Lawyers Say

Transitioning baby-boomers are feeding the M&A pipeline according to lawyers in New Jersey.  Robert Schiappacasse stated: “It is certainly no secret that the Baby Boomer generation, as it reaches retirement age—they’re starting to think about those issues. … We definitely are seeing on a day-to-day basis calls from clients in that situation … Over the course of time, what you’re seeing is a generation—and, I think, a generation behind them—who are far more sophisticated.”
