Air India Disaster Likely to Pose Massive Insurance Costs

Scott Greenspan, Co-Chair of the Sills Cummis Insurance Practice Group, is quoted in an article on the insurance implications of the tragic Air India Flight 171 crash.

As seen in the article, “‘You’re looking at a massive payout here, for the aircraft and for the liability of all the people,’ said Scott D. Greenspan, a policyholder attorney and co-chair of Sills Cummis & Gross P.C.’s insurance practice, in an interview with Law360 on Thursday.

“‘The carriers are certainly going to look to see if there’s any coverage defenses or ability to subrogate [against] somebody who may have been at fault for causing the tragedy.’”
