Charles J. Walsh Scholar Fund

In March of 2006, the Firm announced the establishment of the Charles J. Walsh Scholar Fund at Rutgers School of Law – Newark on behalf of the family, friends and colleagues of the late Judge Charles J. Walsh. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Walsh was a valued Member of the Firm for 17 years.

The Fund provides financial and other assistance to students enrolled at Rutgers School of Law – Newark in the form of scholarship support, summer internship stipends, active mentorship during law school and career guidance. Selection of a Charles J. Walsh scholar will be made by the Rutgers Program Administrator with the advice of the Firm during the student’s first year of law school and will be renewed each year provided the student has achieved satisfactory academic standing and active participation in the mentorship offered by the Firm. Additionally, the Firm will offer a summer internship to the student.
