Sills Cummis Managing Partner Richard Epstein was featured in the Law360 Pulse article “NJ Law Firms Aim to Strike Balance in ‘Noisy’ Legal AI Scene.” The article examines how New Jersey law firms are building cost-effective AI strategies while meeting client expectations. Epstein noted that Sills Cummis currently has contracts with three AI platforms. He explained that the tools serve different attorneys’ needs, and that the firm accepts some overlap among them when a tool helps lawyers give excellent service to clients. “Our number one objective, as it always is, is to give quality to our clients,” Epstein said. He also stressed that “AI is not a substitute for a lawyer’s experience, judgment, and industry and subject matter expertise.”
