Corporate Associate – New York

Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. is seeking a Corporate Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have strong corporate and transactional experience and will work closely with partners, senior attorneys and clients across our New York and New Jersey offices. The role will involve a broad range of matters for domestic and international clients, with an emphasis on middle market businesses across a variety of industries.

• Support partners, senior attorneys and clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and governance, financings, and commercial transactions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, commercial agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction management and closings.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the Firm’s corporate, banking, bankruptcy, real estate, litigation, and other practice areas.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3–6 years of law firm experience in corporate and transactional matters.
• New York Bar admission required.
• New Jersey Bar admission a plus.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $225,000 to $250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
