Pu-Cheng (Leo) Huang is an Associate in the Sills Cummis & Gross Intellectual Property Practice Group. He focuses on intellectual property litigation, particularly patent cases, and has experience with technologies such as semiconductors, photovoltaics, wireless communications, and medical devices. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Huang practiced at Covington & Burling LLP, where he represented global technology, media, and semiconductor clients in patent litigation, cybersecurity and data privacy class actions, and cross-border disputes.

Mr. Huang’s experience also includes advising AI, fintech, and consumer technology companies on patent litigation risk, enforcement strategy, IP due diligence, and preparation of IP assignment agreements in connection with venture financings and strategic transactions.

Mr. Huang gained in‑house experience during a secondment at TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), supporting the company’s patent litigation strategy and U.S. discovery operations.

Mr. Huang began his career as a technical specialist at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, where he drafted and prosecuted U.S. patent applications across AI, semiconductor, optoelectronic, and medical device technologies.

He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
