Site Remediation Regulatory Updates
Under the Site Remediation Reform Act, all remediation projects must be supervised by an LSRP, and the Department’s oversight role has been significantly reduced as of May 7, 2012. This seminar, which will be moderated by Andrew Robins, will discuss the effect of the regulatory requirements and program structure on remediation and Brownfield redevelopment projects. Particular focus will be upon the latest adoption of Technical Rules and Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites, upcoming guidance documents, and the Remedial Priority Scoring system. The interaction and responsibilities of the remediating parties, LSRPs, environmental professionals, the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board and NJDEP will also be discussed.
Growth in Mixed Use Developments
As New Jersey’s demographics change, more and more households are making a choice to move into urban style housing to meet their desire to live, work, shop and play in the same community. Learn about the emerging trend of bringing together both residential and commercial components in mixed-use developments and their emerging role in the development community.
Ethics in Government Relations
Andrew Robins will serve as a panelist. Panelists will discuss the role transparency and ethics when working with governmental entities and processes. Topics include Open Public Meetings Act, Open Public Records Act, Pay-to-Play rules, and ELEC rules for lobbyists.
