Lori K. Sapir is Of Counsel to the Sills Cummis & Gross Litigation Practice Group and is resident in the Firm’s New York office.
Ms. Sapir has substantial experience handling a variety of litigation matters, including general business litigation, real estate related litigation, insurance defense and bankruptcy cases. Ms. Sapir represents companies and individuals in federal and state courts, and represents creditors, debtors and plan administrators in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. She is responsible for fact discovery, developing and implementing case strategies, conducting depositions, preparing corporate witnesses for depositions and drafting dispositive and discovery motions. She also has successfully negotiated and mediated favorable settlements on behalf of the Firm’s clients, and handled appeals before the First and Second Departments.
Before joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Ms. Sapir was an associate with the firm of Silverberg Stonehill Goldsmith & Haber, P.C. where her practice focused on commercial litigation. Ms. Sapir also gained extensive experience as a litigation associate with the New York firm of Ronemus & Vilensky, LLP.
