A. Kopacz is an Associate
in the Sills Cummis & Gross Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy Reorganization
Practice Group. He represents debtors, official and ad hoc committees, lenders and strategic parties in insolvency
proceedings, distressed transactions, out-of-court workouts and related litigation.
He also has experience representing bond insurers in Chapter 9 proceedings and
foreign representatives in Chapter 15 proceedings.
Mr. Kopacz is a member of the New York
State Bar but is currently not a member of the New Jersey State Bar.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Kopacz was
an Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, Choate Hall & Stewart
and McDermott Will & Emery.
During law school, Mr. Kopacz served
as Editor of the Journal of Banking &
Finance Law and was an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar.
