Laura M. Kessler is an Associate in the Sills Cummis &
Gross Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Kessler represents and advises corporate,
government and individual clients in connection with a wide range of matters
including complex commercial litigation, constitutional litigation, bankruptcy
litigation, complex commercial landlord-tenant litigation, government investigations, compliance, and cybersecurity and data
protection. She works closely with clients to understand and advance
their ultimate objectives, including evaluating and minimizing litigation risk.
On a pro bono basis, Ms. Kessler has represented
organizations and individuals in civil rights litigation, including
representing a national public interest organization in a First Amendment
challenge to a city’s advertising policies and litigating claims under the Civil
Rights Act.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Kessler was a litigation
associate at an international law firm in Philadelphia. She previously
interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of
Illinois and served as a Legislative Assistant for a member of the U.S. House
of Representatives.
