Kyle E.
Vellutato is an
Associate in the Sills Cummis & Gross Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Vellutato concentrates his practice on complex
commercial, financial services and real estate litigation, and regularly
represents banks, lenders and financial institutions in federal and state
courts. His experience extends to disputes
related to loan origination, servicing and default litigation, including claims
brought under the Truth in Lending Act (“TILA”), Real Estate Settlement
Procedures Act (“RESPA”), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”),
Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”),
Equal Credit Opportunity Act (“ECOA”), and related state and federal consumer
protection statutes. In addition to his litigation
practice, Mr. Vellutato counsels clients regarding debt collection, regulatory
compliance, and creditors’ rights.
Mr. Vellutato served as a Law Clerk
to the Honorable William E. Nugent, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate
Division. During law school, he served
as an Extern for the Honorable Mitchel E. Ostrer, J.A.D, Superior Court of New
Jersey, a Tax Clerk for the Exelon Corporation and an Intern for the Honorable
Jack M. Sabatino, J.A.D., Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Vellutato
was an associate at Blank Rome in Philadelphia.
