Sills Cummis Congratulates Member Kevin J. Moore,
2007 Recipient of NJ-NAIOP’s President’s Award
Princeton, NJ -- 10/29/2007 Kevin J. Moore, a Member of Sills Cummis & Gross P.C.’s Real Estate Department, has been chosen as a 2007 President’s Award recipient in recognition of his dedication and service to the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NJ-NAIOP).
Mr. Moore is an active member of NJ-NAIOP’s Legislative Committee. As a Committee member, Mr. Moore participates in the review and analysis of legislation that directly or indirectly impacts the State’s non-residential real estate industry. He has been especially active with the proposed amendments to the State’s local redevelopment and housing law this year.
Mr. Moore’s legal practice encompasses counseling clients on a variety of land use, redevelopment, environmental and historical preservation issues, including drafting and negotiating redevelopment and financial agreements, representing them before governing bodies, planning boards and boards of adjustment seeking approval of major mixed use projects, planned unit developments, general development plans, subdivisions, site plans and variances; and for applications for permits before various state agencies. He was selected for inclusion in the 2007 and 2008 editions of The Best Lawyers in America and the 2006 and 2007 editions of Chambers USA. He received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1981 and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Drew University in 1978.
