Newark, NJ -- 11/5/2007 Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. named Jeffrey M. Darwick, Jennifer Ewers Hurley, Karen Levine, William R. Stuart III and Lori M. Waldron as newly elected Of Counsel to the Firm. Jeffrey Darwick is Of Counsel to the Firm's Tax and Financial Planning Practice Group. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1994 and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University in 1998. He practices primarily in tax and financial planning for individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, estates and trusts. Jennifer Ewers Hurley is Of Counsel to the Litigation Practice Group and has over twenty years’ experience as a litigator representing corporate clients as well as governmental agencies in a wide variety of complex litigation cases in state and federal courts. She received her J.D. from John Marshall School of Law in 1983. Karen Levine received her J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law in 1989. She is a real estate attorney whose practice includes representation of landlords and tenants in retail, office and industrial leasing, as well as lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions. William Stuart received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and is Of Counsel to the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He concentrates his practice on product liability, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer products and industrial machines. Lori Waldron is Of Counsel to the Firm's Corporate Practice Group and focuses her practice on representation of public and private companies in sophisticated business transactions. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 1993.
