Minority Student Summer Internship Program. The Charles J. Walsh Scholarship
Fund was established by Sills Cummis & Gross in 2006 in memory of the late
Judge Charles J. Walsh, who, prior to his appointment to the Superior Court of
New Jersey, Bergen County, was a valued Member of Sills Cummis & Gross for
17 years. Judge Walsh was also an adjunct professor at the law school. The Rutgers
School of Law – Minority Student Program serves students of any race or
ethnicity who are members of groups that are underrepresented in the legal
profession, and who have faced discrimination or overcome social and economic
hardships. The Firm’s summer internship program provides an opportunity for law
students to hone their legal skills and gain experience.
