Mark S. Olinsky is Sworn in as President of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey

Sills Cummis & Gross is pleased to announce that Mark S. Olinsky, a Member of the Firm,  was installed as the new President of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey (“AFBNJ”) on June 16 at the annual William J. Brennan, Jr. Award reception.

Mr. Olinsky has been a civil and criminal trial lawyer for more than thirty years. He served as a federal prosecutor in the Office of U.S. Attorney Samuel A. Alito, Jr.  Mr. Olinsky's diverse case load includes complex business disputes, health care litigation and white-collar criminal defense. His courtroom experience includes many jury and bench trials, arbitrations and appeals, and his expertise includes defense of federal and state RICO actions.

The Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey serves attorneys who practice in the District of New Jersey’s three vicinages: Newark, Trenton, and Camden. It supports America’s oldest undivided district court and the attorneys who practice there by offering educational, training and social events throughout the year, including two annual events: the Judicial Conference, and the William J. Brennan, Jr. Award and Reception.  Approaching our fifth decade of connecting the federal bench and bar in the District of New Jersey, the AFBNJ facilitates dialogue on issues of court administration and federal practice including: The United States District Court Judicial Conference, The William J.
