Ted Zangari - Newark has grand plans for all that blacktop

In an article about more development around the new Prudential Arena, Ted Zangari stated: "It costs almost as much to construct a building in Newark as it does in Manhattan, but buildings don't command as much in rent." He added that a few successful restaurants could create a domino effect. "What's starting to happen here is very reminiscent of what transpired in Times Square...There is a herd mentality among retailers and entertainment companies and sports venues. Once one well-regarded retailer or restaurant concept reports great numbers, there will be such a self-propelling phenomenon."
