Highlighted in this piece is the sale of the Marriott East Side Hotel at 525 Lexington Avenue in New York City by SHC New York Eastside II, a subsidiary of Chicago's Strategic Hotel Capital, LLC, to Morgan Stanley's Prime Property Fund. The closing price was $287 million. Sills Cummis represented SHC New York Eastside II. Jones Day and King & Spalding represented the Prime Property Fund.
