New Jersey Lawyer

April 30, 2007

Jack Wenik, a Member of the Firm, was interviewed for the April 30, 2007 New Jersey Lawyer article titled “McNulty Memo: When fed wave gun at heads of corp lawyers.” This article discusses the McNulty and Thomson memos. According to the article “Jack Wenik of Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross in Newark, who will moderate a New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education program on the topic next month, said the McNulty memo ‘hasn’t dramatically changed the situation.’ But, he noted, the new policy at least will promote uniformity. ‘There’s going to be a process, if you will,’ he said, adding, ‘The whim of an assistant U.S. attorney’ won’t be determinative.”
