City of New London, Connecticut, Ted Zangari stated: "But the Court also noted that states are free to narrow their definitions of what constitutes a public purpose. So within days after the decision, nearly a dozen bills were introduced by New Jersey state legislators aiming to curb eminent domain abuses."
