Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. Members, Ted Zangari and Kevin J. Moore, will participate in NJ-NAIOP’s Special Legislative Update Breakfast on July 30, 2009 regarding the NJ Economic Stimulus Act of 2009 at the NJ Carpenter Contractor Trust Conference Center in Edison, NJ. Attendees will learn how to take steps to be ready for enactment of the Act, expected to be signed by Governor Corzine this month.
Topics discussed will include:
-how enactment of the legislation will affect businesses
-when programs will become effective
-what projects are eligible for the UTHTC (Urban Transit Hub Tax Credit) and ERGG (Economic Redevelopment and Growth Grant) programs
-how to qualify and apply
-how to claim a refund of COAH fees
Senator Ray Lesniak will discuss how these measures will jump-start economic activity. Ted Zangari and Kevin Moore are Members of the Firm’s Real Estate Department. Mr. Zangari is also the founding member of the NJ Smart Growth Economic Development Coalition.
