New Jersey Chamber of Commerce
October 09, 2013
Ted Zangari was one of two recipients of the Business Advocate Award presented by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce on October 9th at the Wyndham Hotel. The Chamber stated that "Ted has devoted countless hours to crafting, advocating and providing valuable input regarding the 'New Jersey Economic Opportunity Act of 2013' which expands the number of companies eligible for state job growth incentives. His work was rewarded last month when that landmark legislation was passed by the Legislature and signed by the governor. He established the Smart Growth Economic Development Coalition - a collaboration of over 25 statewide trade associations charged with finding reasonable and balanced solution to the state's out-migration of jobs and residents, and to address the state's need for smart growth and development." He served as Project Advisor Co-Chair on the comprehensive and influential study done by the New Jersey Chamber and PlanSmart NJ this year titled "What Will It Take to Support New Jersey's Industry Clusters."
