 Michael B. Goldsmith is a Member of the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group and is resident and Co-Managing Partner in the Firm’s New York office.
Before joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Mr. Goldsmith was a founder and the managing member of the firm of Silverberg Stonehill Goldsmith & Haber, P.C.
Mr. Goldsmith has a diverse corporate practice which is international in scope. He counsels individual, corporate and institutional clients in a wide range of business-related matters ranging from general corporate and commercial work to mergers and acquisitions, licensing, financings, start-ups and workouts, as well as insolvency work. He also represents banks, factors and retail clients, both in transactional matters and workouts. Mr. Goldsmith is an experienced business bankruptcy attorney representing debtors, creditors' committees and lenders in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court compositions.
Mr. Goldsmith is a member of the Faculty of the New York Institute of Credit and is a past recipient of its Leadership in Education Award. Mr. Goldsmith is involved in various charitable and pro bono efforts and serves on the board of directors of Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation Inc.
